About Beekn

Over the last few years, I have been involved with a variety of projects. While working with very different teams I realized that testing as a practice was often neglected. I always wondered why and tried to offer them my expertise to show how just a few small tips and tricks can help you start performing some tests.

Over the course of my career, I became interested with HTTP API testing, experimenting different tools, frameworks, and scripts. When you work in software development, you can easily version control your tests, and make them robust. That's all very easy. In QA things are done differently. Due to their background, QA engineers often lack the technical knowledge about GIT, HTTP protocols, databases, Javascript, Python and other technologies. How can we speed up testing, and apply it to more layers, not just the UI? We can test, monitor, and spot problems earlier on in the development, rather than leave it to when our apps are already in our customers' hands.

That is why I came up with the idea behind Beekn. Beekn is a low-friction, fuss-free back-end testing tool. You can use it in many ways and, most importantly, without any coding skills. When using Beekn, you can simply focus on the functional aspects and content of the applications you are testing.
